So, you’re investing in a wedding photographer or videographer for your special day. Why choose Mike TD Photo for your wedding needs? Well, let’s face it, wedding photography/video is an expensive investment which is why you want a photographer or videographer that cares about their clients. That should be a given, right? When you’re booking someone for your wedding, you should want someone who is happy to meet with you, who doesn’t charge you extra to obtain your photos, who is happy to keep an open line of communication with you because they understand the stress of planning a wedding and know that anything helps.

So far in my career I’ve shot over 100 weddings, I’ve traveled the country and the globe to do them and to be honest, I love to do them. My famous wedding saying is that I’m not shooting for this year or next year, I’m shooting for 20 years down the road from now when you pull out the wedding album and say “Remember this” and truth be told, you won’t have to … cause I took a picture of it. My goal every wedding day is to capture as much as possible for my clients, which is why for most of my galleries that are on contract for a base 600 images … they get back a lot more than that. You only (hopefully) get one wedding day. I’m here to capture every moment of that.

You also get to choose your style! Do you like something bright and airy? Just let me know! Want something a little darker and moodier? How about a little more grainy and cinematic? I’m happy to make it happen for you.

Looking for both photo and video? No worries, I have a plan. For photo and video I come with another shooter (I will still edit the final product). Someone whose work I know and trust to get you the best possible footage for your wedding, and we work side by side together to get you the best possible product on the market!

Getting married in a far away land? No worries! I travel! From New York to Italy, and from California, Nashville and Wyoming to Costa Rica - I have bookings all over. Inquire within to hear about travel options!

This is your one engagement session, your one wedding day and memories matter. “I don’t shoot for tomorrow, I shoot for 20 years in the future” - that’s my day of quote - I want to make sure that you never have to remember anything. Below you’ll find out what I shoot every wedding, but your input matters. Our conference will let you tell me everything you want out of your wedding - ideas, trends, shots, styles and all the little details that make your day perfect.

I shoot 90% candid - of course we’ll get your amazing posed shots with your family and your crew, but your gallery will be made to represent your day - a little bit of everything - and every emotion involved in that.

Your destination wedding? Well, we do that too - but we do that for a whole trip - custom packages are available for me to follow you around the whole trip, part of the trip or just the day of.

The Engagement Session

So, this is where we meet!

An engagement session is included in every wedding photo package!
When your edits are done you’ll receive an online gallery where you can download and print any of the photos that you would like - as far as how many you’ll get - the minimum is 60 - but you’ll likely get much more than that!
All engagement sessions are returned within 10 days - so you have plenty of time to plan out the Save-The-Dates!
Well, this is where we meet - we get to know eachother. We shoot for an hour together - you bring you the champagne, the love and the excitement and we work together to capture it!
Well, then we shoot something somewhere else! Choose a new location, bring the pets and the kids or bring some inspiration! We can try something new together!
These are your engagement photos. We shoot where you want to shoot! Choose your favorite location, I’ll meet you there!
Well, for destination weddings there are a few options!
We can sneak off on location, after all destinations are three days long and filled with opportunities to shoot everywhere. We can also meet before or after if you’re in the New England area for a session!

what I shoot every single wedding

I don’t just shoot the photos that you hang on the wall.

I shoot everything.

I don’t shoot your wedding for just the weeks or months after your wedding, I shoot for 20 years down the road.

The Get Ready. The moments with your friends, where everyone (don’t worry it’s not just you) is in chaos to get ready and get dressed and make sure everything is ready to go. You’re laughing, getting your hair and make up done and hanging out with your family and friends. These are all mainly candids, with several posed photos.
The Finer Details. You work hard on designing your wedding, I work hard to make sure we get great shots of all those designs. Every wedding is different, and you want to showcase the originality of yours. That’s what I’m here for. The place set ups, invitations, cake toppers, every small fine detail - I’m here to capture it.
The Pre-Show. All those photos where everyone is waiting eagerly for the day to begin. Where the guests find their seats and get together.
The Show. The moment we’ve all been waiting for. The walks down the aisle, the sweet, beautiful and often hysterical vows, the kiss, the moment you lock in your love forever.
The Posed Shots. Those photos that you have where everyone is smiling and laughing in an orderly row.
The Dinner, Speeches and Reception. Those photos you have where everyone is absolutely NOT in an orderly row. The one’s where everyone is actually the exact opposite in a row. The one’s where your friends are ready to dance and party. And I’m here to join them.
The Guests. I know, I know. It’s your day and while you and your soon-to-be are absolutely a prime focus - it’s fun to have some photos of the friends and family that came to party with you - and should your friends stop and ask me for a photo - I’m happy to take it.
The Engagement Shoot - Every wedding booking comes with a free engagement shoot!

THE RETURN TIME - all weddings come with a 6 week return time for both photo and video on contract. Some may come sooner!

Every gallery for a wedding is guaranteed with 500 minimum edits, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get more than that. My motto is that I don’t waste good shots. If we have more than 500 good shots, you get more than 500. Almost all of my galleries are more candid than posed, natural moments, I like those moments where people aren’t focused on the fact that there is a camera there and are just naturally having the time of their lives.

That’s right! From in the states to south of the border or across the pond! I travel to capture your wedding! I have bookings all across the globe! Getting married in a scenic location?

Your wedding package will include 3 days of shooting, a small highlight video reel of the adventure and over 1000 edits!

What is the booking process like?

Well, if you like what you see here you can reach out to me on the ‘Get In Touch’ tab to see if your date is available! If so, we schedule a consultation which can be in person or VIA Skype. We get together (or meet virtually) and talk about your vision and what you would like to do with your wedding. On that call, we go over a questionnaire which will line out some of the finer details of the day (don’t worry if you don’t have them all yet there’s still another consultation that we will do the weeks leading up to your wedding to make sure everything is set in stone and in place). From there if we think we’re a good match, I send out a contract and a 2 part invoice, when that contract is signed part one of that invoice is paid at 10% and from there we start to plan out your engagement shoot, your vision for styles that you would like for your photography and whatever other details you would like to have down! The rest of the invoice isn’t due until the day of the wedding!
